Frequently asked questions
How do I care for my jewellery?
Although polymer clay is lightweight and durable, it can be delicate if bent or dropped onto hard surfaces. To keep your jewellery looking its best, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid unnecessary pressure or impact.
To help prevent tarnishing, keep jewellery away from moisture and direct sunlight when not in use. A soft jewellery polishing cloth can be used to gently clean metal components.
We also recommend allowing perfumes, hairsprays and moisturisers to dry completely before putting on your jewellery.
Is polymer clay durable?
Yes! Polymer clay is surprisingly lightweight yet strong, making it ideal for statement earrings and everyday wear. Like all handmade jewellery, it should be handled with care and stored safely when not being worn.
Is polymer clay waterproof?
Polymer clay itself is waterproof. However, I do not recommend wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering or exercising, as prolonged exposure to water may affect the metal components and hardware over time.
Are your earrings lightweight?
Absolutely. One of my main goals when designing earrings is to make them lightweight and comfortable to wear all day. Many customers are surprised by how light even the larger statement pieces feel.
Are your pieces handmade?
Yes. Every piece is handmade by me on the Gold Coast, Australia. Because each item is individually crafted, slight variations may occur, making every piece unique.
Will my jewellery look exactly like the photos?
I do my best to accurately photograph each design. As every piece is handmade, slight variations in colour, pattern placement and finish may occur. This is part of the charm of handmade jewellery and means your piece is truly one of a kind.
Where do you ship?
I currently ship throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
How long will my order take to be dispatched?
Most orders are carefully packed and dispatched within 48 business hours. During busy periods, product launches or holiday seasons, dispatch times may vary slightly.
